Rep. Edolphus “Ed” Towns Hosts Thanksgiving Luncheon at Boys & Girls High School

On Thursday, November 24, 2011, Congressman Edolphus “Ed” Towns hosted his annual Thanksgiving luncheon at Boys and Girls High School located in the Bedford Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn, NY. Nearly 600 senior citizens attended held from 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. As in past years, students volunteered to serve lunch, check coats, and danced with seniors. In addition to a full traditional Thanksgiving meal, the event was marked by an afternoon filled with prizes, music, and good company.
